In our Kids Church ministry, our mission is to help kids find their way back to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible lessons, games, and crafts; designed to help our kids see first hand how they can make a difference for good in the world!


Vision/Mission Statement:

  • REACH: Reach Kid’s for the Kingdom (Matt 19:14)
  • TEACH : Teach for life change, in a fun, spirit-filled environment (Deut 11:19)

  • EQUIP : Equip them to know God, His Word and His Church (Proverbs 22:6)

  • GROW : Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord (2 Peter 3:18), to be bold followers of Jesus Christ through words, deeds and service to others (2 Peter 1:5-8)

Who's Involved?

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fourth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other. There are 2 groups: PK-1st grade & 2nd-4th grade. Nursery/Toddler Care (up to age 3) is also available.


Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love on kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in the Kids Ministry has had a background check and is committed to making the ministry a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

How does Kid's Church work?

Families entering the HIC Worship Center with children birth to 4th grade, will be directed to the Kids Church sign in. There are 2 groups: PK-1st grade & 2nd-4th grade. Nursery/Toddler Care (up to age 3) is also available. After the Worship music and prior to the sermon, children may be dismissed to their classes. HIC is dedicated to a safe, fun, organized, Christ centered environment for your children to learn about God!
