Small GROUPS

Doing Life Together

Small Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings in the synagogues as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one-another. God has reconciled us not only to Himself but also to each other. This "each other" is called His Church. Thus, we intentionally strive toward community through men's/women's groups, home gatherings, and other personal settings.

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer" ~ Acts 2:42

get connected!

We have been created to live in community and not in isolation. Physically, we do live in a community, but spiritually, socially, and relationally we often live our lives in isolation. We find ourselves with no one to turn to when we have a major issue that has just surfaced in our life. Living in community affords us the opportunity to more wholly experience God through close relationships as we play and pray together, as we encourage and help one another, and as we study and live out God’s word together.

men's group

Our goal is to help men grow in their relationship with God and build deep friendships with other godly men. A natural result of this is spiritually stronger men, husbands, fathers, families and churches. Also, a small group setting facilitates solid and deeper friendships with other men.

Our Purpose is to define authentic manhood. In our society, being a man is confusing. There are a number of definitions according to the world's standards. We will look at the Biblical call to be a real man as one who rejects passivity, accepts responsibility, leads courageously, and invests in eternity.

The Men's Ministry here at HIC is expressed in Colossians 1:28 ~

"That we may present every man complete in Christ."

Join us Wednesday nights, from 6-7:30 pm (Sept.-May), as we gather together to impact our lives and the community for Christ! Contact us for more information at pastor@hicnh.com.

Discipleship Class

As we build our church and personal lives centered on the Gospel, we will discover that our relationship with Christ entails a serious commitment to the study of the Bible—a body of knowledge and truth that God wants us to learn, live, and teach to others for us to fully flourish as His people. Discipleship classes are designed to expand your knowledge of who God is and how He is at work in your life and in our world. Whether you are just beginning to explore Christian spirituality or are looking to dig deep into the teachings of the Christian faith, our aim is to help you "grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ" (2 Pet 3:18). Sunday Mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the New Worship Center.
